This survival  site is brought to you by Til Turner, associate professor of ESL and composition at Northern Virginia Community College. He has helped many students from around the world stay alive when English is threatening them. Mr. Turner holds a BFA with Distinction in Dramatic Arts, a Master's in English with a focus on Applied Linguistics, and an MFA in Creative Writing. He is certified to teach ESL to adults and maintains an active tutoring business. 

In addition to his academic work, Mr. Turner maintains a podcast of his original fantasy stories for young readers and a blog related to writing, art, and just about anything that seems odd or interesting.
